About the project
In 2022, Microsoft opened an office in Palas Campus Iași, one of the largest office buildings in Romania. For the 3,300 sqm space, Claritech designed and installed the complete structured cabling system on SYSTIMAX® infrastructure, including the fit-out of the server rooms. The work was carried out as part of the office fit-out, coordinated with the other site teams.
Project requirements
An enterprise tenant’s office comes with precise requirements: internal cabling standards, components specified down to the product code, deadlines aligned with the rest of the fit-out, and the final certification of the installation for the extended warranty. The project covered the copper network for the workstations, the fiber-optic backbone and the complete fit-out of the server rooms - racks, cable organization, PDUs and the airflow-management accessories for the raised floor.
The solution
Cat 6 and Cat 6A copper
Approximately 12.2 km of GigaSPEED XL Cat 6 U/UTP LSZH cable for the workstations and 1.5 km of GigaSPEED X10D Cat 6A, terminated in 500 information outlets (MGS400 and MGS600).
OM4 fiber backbone
500 m of LazrSPEED OM4 24-fiber riser cable, terminated in G2 splice cassettes with pigtails, SYSTIMAX 360 Evolve panels and LC-LC OM4 patch cords.
Turnkey server rooms
Legrand Mighty Mo 20 45U racks with doored vertical managers, 12 Legrand PDUs, management panels and KoldLok grommets for the raised-floor cutouts.
Certification and a 25-year warranty
SYSTIMAX-certified installation - links tested with the analyzer, over 2,400 labels applied, and the 25-year extended warranty registered with the manufacturer.
The OM4 fiber connections in the server room: LC patch cords to the active equipment, on organized routes.
An equipped rack in the server room: doored vertical managers and patch cords dressed on dedicated routes.

The results
SYSTIMAX certification and a 25-year warranty. The installation was tested, documented and registered with CommScope for the extended product and applications warranty.
Turnkey server rooms. From racks, cable organization and PDUs to the raised-floor grommets - the technical spaces were handed over ready for the active equipment.
Handover coordinated with the fit-out site. The work ran in parallel with the other fit-out trades, on the project’s overall schedule.
Complete documentation. Labeling on every port and cable, analyzer measurements per the SYSTIMAX certification procedure, and the corresponding handover documentation.
