What data we collect and why

We only collect the data you voluntarily send us, plus the minimum technical data needed to run the website.

Contact form

Data: name, company, e-mail address, phone, the selected subject and your message.

Purpose: to answer your enquiry and continue the correspondence.

Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

Subscription / resource download form

Data: name and e-mail address.

Purpose: to send you the requested material and, if you have agreed, information about our solutions and services.

Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time.

Technical access data

Data: IP address, browser type and pages visited, recorded automatically in server logs.

Purpose: the operation, security and stability of the website.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and functional (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Cookies

This website does not use advertising cookies. For traffic analysis we use Google Analytics 4, which loads only after your explicit consent, given through the cookie banner; without that consent, no analytics tool is loaded. Details in our Cookie policy.

We do not ask for - and do not wish to receive through these forms - special categories of data (health data, political or religious beliefs, etc.). Please do not include such information in the messages you send us.

Who we share data with

We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.

Your data is accessible to Claritech staff who need it in order to reply to you. In addition, we use service providers who process the data solely on our instructions, as processors:

  • Netlify - website hosting and collection of messages submitted through the forms.
  • Our e-mail service provider, for subsequent correspondence.

These providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, the transfer is based on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or another safeguard provided for by the GDPR.

We may also disclose data to public authorities where we are legally required to do so.

How long we keep data

We keep data only for as long as it is necessary for the purpose it was collected for:

  • Contact form messages - for the duration of the correspondence and the business relationship, and thereafter for as long as we may need them to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.
  • Subscription data - until you withdraw your consent.
  • Technical logs - for a short period, as required for security purposes.

When we no longer need the data, we delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right:

To access and rectification

To find out what data we hold about you and to have inaccurate data corrected.

To erasure and restriction

To request deletion of your data (the “right to be forgotten”) or the restriction of its processing.

To object and to portability

To object to processing based on legitimate interest, and to receive your data in a structured format.

At any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

If you no longer wish to receive marketing communications, write to us at the same address with the subject “Unsubscribe”.

Data security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure. The site is served exclusively over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to messages received through the forms is limited to the people who need them.
