Omnidirectional DAS antenna installed above the suspended ceiling, with the feeder connected
Above the suspended ceiling: an omnidirectional antenna connected to the DAS network - 523 m of 1/2" feeder in total, cabled through the existing ceilings and cable routes.
Coaxial tap mounted above the ceiling, with the jumpers connected on the feeder run
Above the ceiling: one of the passive network taps, mounted on the feeder run - the signal distribution passes through the existing plenum.
Omnidirectional antenna mounted on the suspended-ceiling structure
The omnidirectional antenna, seen from above the suspended ceiling - mounted on the existing structure, next to the services routes.
Finished office corridor with a suspended ceiling, at the end of the works
A finished corridor at the end of the works - the installation has no visual impact in the occupied spaces.

In brief

In an office building in Bucharest, occupied and fully finished, one of the leading mobile network operators needed the existing indoor radio coverage system extended. Claritech carried out the work with no visual impact on the occupied spaces, per the end user’s requirement: 28 indoor antennas (20 omnidirectional and 8 panel) across 4 levels - from the ground floor to the 3rd floor - and 523 m of 1/2” feeder, cabled through the existing suspended ceilings and cable routes. The passive network is fed dual-band, on 800/900 + 1800 MHz, through two radio units and a 4x4 combiner, from the technical room on floor 2 - a 42U rack with the BBU, -48 VDC power supply and optical fiber transmission. The antenna positions were agreed room by room, and on the finished corridors the system has no visual impact.
