Industrial campus - 6 buildings, a single technical room

A passive 2G/4G DAS in an industrial campus - 32 antennas across 6 buildings, 930 m of coaxial cable, the 800/900/1800/2100 MHz bands and a microwave link, in a system with a single technical room.

Interior of a steel-structure industrial hall, with pallets and boxes prepared for dispatch
Steel-structure halls and warehouses up to 12 m high - six buildings with different profiles, from production to offices, covered from the same technical room. 32 indoor antennas distribute the 2G/4G signal through 930 m of coaxial cable.
The technical rack with batteries and radio equipment, next to the electrical panel, in the technical room
The technical room: the rack with the BBU, the radio units and the battery power supply, next to the main panel - the whole campus, served from a single point.
Panel antenna mounted on the cable tray, under the ceiling of an industrial hall
An antenna mounted directly on the cable tray, above the working area - the passive network uses the hall's existing routes.
White omnidirectional antenna on the ceiling of a finished corridor, next to the emergency exit
The same network also covers the finished spaces - an antenna mounted discreetly on the ceiling, in the access area.

In brief

In an industrial campus with six buildings - production halls, warehouses and an office building on four levels - Claritech designed and installed a passive 2G/4G DAS for one of the leading mobile network operators. The network comprises 32 indoor antennas (21 omnidirectional and 11 panel), distributed across 6 buildings connected to a single technical room. The signal on the 800/900/1800/2100 MHz bands is combined with dual-band combiners and carried over 930 m of coaxial cable - 450 m of 1/2” feeder and 480 m of 7/8” - balanced with 16 1:2 splitters and 14 tappers. Coverage reaches from halls of up to 2,940 sqm and warehouses 12.8 m high to the offices on all four levels. The 42U rack houses the BBU, the two radio units and the -48 VDC power supply with 4 batteries, and the data link is provided by a microwave antenna, mounted on a ballasted tripod that does not pierce the roof membrane.
