About the project
A national retail chain with hundreds of stores has continuous connectivity needs: new stores open and others relocate, bandwidth has to grow, some equipment has to be replaced with higher-performance models, and every now and then something has to be changed - under a strict SLA, as the data link is critical to the store’s operation. For a chain like this, Claritech has been executing the field connectivity work for years: over 400 jobs, in stores across the whole country.
Project requirements
Each store generates a series of projects over time. The execution standard is the same in every store: the same installation, the same labeling, the same file, whether the job is in a big city or a small town, at an opening planned months ahead or at an intervention announced that morning. All jobs are executed without stopping the store - installations and equipment replacements are done outside peak hours, with the checkouts fully operational at the end.
Project type
Continuous field connectivity services: installations, upgrades, equipment replacements, relocations and interventions.
Scale
Over 400 documented jobs, in stores across the whole country, over many years.
What we install
Routers and access equipment, fiber and radio data links, the cabling and organization of the store’s technical room.
The solution
Installations at store openings
When a store opens, the data link has to be ready: survey, cable routing, equipment installed, tested and handed over - synchronized with the opening schedule.
Bandwidth upgrades and replacements (swaps)
As traffic grows or equipment reaches end of life, we replace it in series, store by store: the old equipment removed and inventoried by serial number, the new one installed, tested and handed over - with a signed report in both directions.
Relocations and interventions
Stores that move, technical rooms that get reorganized, faults that have to be fixed fast - the same teams, the same process, the same documentation.
A file for every job
Photos of the site and the installation, serial numbers of the equipment installed and removed, a signed handover report - archived per store, year after year. Every location’s history is available at any time - in the application we developed for documenting the field teams’ work.

Last-mile radio link: where fiber does not reach, the store connects over a microwave link.

A store’s technical room: equipment installed, cabled and labeled.
What we delivered
| Component | Details |
|---|---|
| Documented jobs | Over 400, for the same chain |
| Types of work | Installations at openings, upgrades, swaps, relocations, interventions |
| Coverage | Stores across the whole country |
| Way of working | Outside peak hours, without stopping the store |
| Documentation | Execution file and signed handover report for every job |
The results
A continuous process. Hundreds of jobs, over several years, for the same chain, to the same standard.
Operation without interruptions. Installations and replacements planned outside peak hours, with the IT network kept in operation.
A complete history, per store. Every location has its own file - what was installed, when, with which serial numbers - needed for audits, expansions and the next intervention.
A replicable model. We apply the same model for other retail chains, bank branch networks and networks of sites in energy and utilities.
Why Claritech
Over 8,000 IT&C projects in over 4,000 locations - with permanent teams in six cities and a documented process, applied identically in every location. We routinely work on networks of sites distributed nationwide. See the Connectivity & IT&C infrastructure solution →
