Claritech becomes a partner in the Sustainable Romania Coalition and a member of The Sustainability Embassy in Romania.
“Driven by efficiency” – It is more than our slogan, it is a promise that gives us motivation and focuses our attention on implementing new technology for sustainable, efficient systems, so that we can contribute as much as possible to building a society based on technological progress.
It has been visible more and more during the last years how the interaction between civil society, citizens and the state has been changing. Unlike in the past, there is increasing pressure to quickly address issues affecting the environment and sustainable development in general and local communities in particular.
The time has come for businesses, citizens, and non-profit organizations to act all together by participating in groups that can produce public policies and propose viable solutions. It is important to participate, to get involved and to change the current situation.
We believe that there is a need for a structured and systematic approach to the problems that Romanian society is facing regarding sustainable development. There is a need to correlate the areas of action and the collaboration of all those interested in a common framework.
Consequently, we believe that initiatives such as the Sustainable Romania Coalition must be endorsed. It can aggregate such forces that aim at lasting changes in legislation, directions of action and mentalities.
Claritech has joined the Sustainable Romania Coalition with confidence and hope for the future, because only with joint and sustained efforts, unitary projects and harmonized objectives we can move towards a sustainable future for Romania. We are a small but determined voice, and we aim to help modernize the way local authorities measure and assess the energy efficiency of infrastructure, air pollution and operational costs.
We also encourage other companies / organizations to get involved and offer their support, know-how and energy together to increase overall chances of success.
About The Sustainability Embassy in Romania
The Sustainability Embassy in România is a non-profit organization that promotes sustainability in business, using an economic model in which companies can solve social and environmental problems without sacrificing their economic efficiency and profit.
Through its projects and partnerships, the Sustainability Embassy aims to invite to dialogue and collaboration the business environment, civil society, opinion leaders and public authorities. And the main objective is to develop integrated projects that will contribute to the sustainable development of Romania.
The most important project is the Sustainable Romania Coalition, the first collaborative platform for the sustainable development of Romania, in accordance with the national strategy and the objectives of the 2030 Agenda.
Also, through existing or developing working groups and together with the members of the Coalition, the Sustainability Embassy initiates actions and proposes solutions for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
One of the working groups is the one for Air Quality, with the current focus on outdoor air monitoring, a group that also includes Claritech. The aim of the group is to build a strategy that seeks both measures to reduce air pollution within the maximum limits allowed by law, but also to prevent other exceedances of critical air quality thresholds.
